Visited today for a late lunch. Restaurant is lovely inside and out. We were lucky enough to be on the balcony by the riverside. Staff were excellent and very friendly. Food was delicious, all 4 of us were very happy. We were visiting for my daughter's birthday and the staff very kindly bought her a glass of prosecco. Food is very reasonably priced and the setting perfect. Would highly recommend and will be visiting again.

From the moment we arrived, we were looked after by one staff member who managed everything seamlessly - attentive, warm, and incredibly professional throughout. What stood out most was their knowledge and confidence: every dish was introduced with genuine understanding, explaining ingredients and flavour pairings in a way that felt natural and engaging, not rehearsed. It made the whole experience feel very personal. The dessert was sooooo delicious 😍 A place where both service and food feel thoughtful and intentional. Absolutely worth experiencing.

Wonderful place with excellent service! Took a star off food because the cauliflower steak was quite hard and I had to use a steak knife to cut it! But the starter was delicious- pastry baskets! English Garden cocktail is a must try!

This was honestly the worst service I’ve encountered in a long time. The staff member who appeared to be the manager was condescending and seemed more interested in lecturing us than answering our questions. We were also treated noticeably differently from other tables. Staff repeatedly interrupted our conversations to clear plates and rush service, yet did not do the same to others. We were reminded multiple times that our reservation was ending, even though we still had time remaining.
