CAR T★★★★It was a lovely Saturday morning in Canterbury. I waited about 10 to 15 minutes to get the table. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food were good, but not really impressed. French toast toppings of yogurt and crumble were delicious, however, I'd prefer a thicker version and buttery brioche. And the hot americano tasted just fine. My favourite was home made waffle, not too sweet, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, though the bacon and egg just standard.
Fenella Owst★★★★★I’ve only been to Refectory Kitchen once, but it didn’t disappoint. I ordered a salad, which can sometimes be a bit underwhelming when you’re out for brunch, but this one was genuinely amazing really fresh, full of flavour, and properly filling. My friend had the French toast so I’ll definitely be going back to try a sweet option next time. It’s on the slightly more expensive side for brunch, but you can tell the quality is there, and it feels worth it for something a bit nicer. Would happily go again.
Charlotta Colliander Golding★★★★★I wish I lived closer! What a gem this is for both brunch food and ambience. I sat outside and had a lovely city view. As the rain came, I was asked if I wanted a seat under the awning now one was free, so staff see you from within and care. Not the cheapest, but so worth it for good ingredients prepared well. I had a Refectory Rancher, including a sausage patty, smashed avocado and chipotle hollandaise on a muffin. Wow!
Samantha Mussard★★★★★An excellent start to our weekend away. We did wait a little bit but the all ingredients were lovely and fresh so I didn't mind. My coffee was a flat white, delicious is the only word to say.
