First time of my life that I actually enjoy a matcha, this one was delicious and so refreshing. Loved my time spent in Canterbury and Teastone played a big part in that. Their food and cakes were absolutely fantastic, particularly loved the Victoria sponge cake. Their staff are always smiling and adorable, can’t wait to come back. It’s a busy place but I guess that comes with the fact that they’re the best. PS: their online tea shop is fire 🔥

teastones is one of my favourite places in canterbury - an incredible selection of loose leaf teas (cherry almond cake and spitfire rush are favourites of mine; also their earl grey is to die for) and cakes. i spend a lot of time here either reading or working on my phd and am always met with a smile; staff are incredibly warm and welcoming and really knowledgeable - will always recommend this place to anyone in the area !! they are also dog friendly which is a huge bonus for those visiting with furry friends; on occasion they have their own little guy who loves to greet customers!

My favourite teahouse! I'm crazy about this place. I love their tea, I love their scones, I love their salted butter, I love their cakes, I love the setting, and I love the staff! Everyone is so kind, the food is perfect, and both floors are nice places to relax (even though I have to admit that the upstairs décor is more atmospheric). I've lived in Canterbury for three months and this is one of the places I'll miss the most! 💙

we had gingerbread and caramel marshmallows hot chocolates, and a victoria sponge slice. we liked the hot chocolates, but the cake was quite dried and absolutely not worth the money. we have seen a lot of people leaving with cake leftovers on the table. Cosy place and staff are really nice and helpful.
