BRU is a fantastic café/restaurant. I visited with a family of six and there was no wait for a table, which was a great start. The food arrived very quickly, within 5–10 minutes, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and efficient throughout our visit. The food was amazing, full of flavour, and served at the perfect temperature. There was also a great variety of drink options to choose from. The atmosphere makes it an ideal place for meetings, catching up with family, spending time with friends, or even stopping by after work. We were visiting Cardiff for the first time and went to Bru for brunch... such a find! Lovely staff, cafe culture ambiance and great coffee. We ordered the Indian Brunch which was absolutely delicious. Chef Maz stopped by to see whether we had enjoyed our meals... and we were happy to report it was top-notch! What a find! We dived in here on a whim having 45 mins to spare before the train. Already can’t wait to go back! The service was outstanding…I’m assuming the manager? He made us feel welcome straight away after a chaotic entrance with two prams, and three hungry children. We ended up having three shakshuka with the added chicken sausage and feta. The focaccia was sooo good! All the staff were really lovely with the children, making them feel comfortable. The decor is really cool as well, can’t wait to go back, thank you again!!
