We were staying at the Park Plaza hotel and my wife looked for the best high tea in the city and it happened to be here. We were warmly received and were shows the menu for the tea service. We chose the traditional service. I have to say that the price is reasonable and the quantity of food that’s served is great. One of the best tea services I’ve had. Food was delicious and plentiful. Highly recommended.

A lovely place for an afternoon tea with friends. Was here to celebrate a friend's 60th birthday. Service was excellent as was our waiter, who was friendly, efficient and helpful... nothing was too much bother. Food was delicious and extremely well presented. We went here for my 50th birthday. We had afternoon tea. The food was lovely and some amazing deserts. Everyone enjoyed. The staff are friendly enough. Came out with a cake and happy birthday writen on plate with sparkler. I really enjoyed.

We came here for a special birthday treat. And can honestly say it was the worst meal I've ever had. We had a vegan cream tea, which priced £60 was such poor quality. The cakes were clearly was supermarket bought. One sandwich was just guacamole and the other just had onion marmalade in. Revolting. Online it listed items which we didn't receive (welsh cakes, houmous with roasted peppers, vegan cheese). We ordered flat whites, which ended up being filter coffee with steamed milk. Shockingly and embarrassingly bad. Avoid avoid avoid! The staff were nice and friendly - the only plus!
