We dropped in for a quick cuppa after some last-minute Christmas shopping (12:20pm on 24th December 2024). My son loves Costa's, so I got him his usual tomato and cheese toastie with an innocent lemon & lime bubble juice water. Service was very quick at the counter, and his toastie came even quicker. Nice and warm. It was definitely much quieter than we expected, which was helpful. Tables and common areas were clean and tidy, which isn't always the case. When it's busy, there always seem to be used trays and used cups, left on tables etc. But today, it was almost spotless. There is nothing

10 free tables...all dirty stacks of cups and saucers everywhere. Two staff standing about chatting, it's only half-full no one at the counter and I can't find somewhere clen to sit. Not coming back. Coffee was average and the best part of the experience.

Costa is one of my favourite places to have my coffee. It's always my first choice when I think about having a coffee. They have a good and respectful staff with a clean atmosphere. If you order a coffee for example and it's not the exact thing which you ordered, they will just change it in a very respectful way even if you drank some of it, it’s happened to me. One of the most amazing and different points is about their Costa Card if you have it, after having 10 coffees there you’ll get a free coffee.

We popped in for lunch while doing our groceries and got to try their new seasonal products. The Maple Hazel Hot Chocolate and Latte, the Nacho Chilli Cheese Toastie, Hog Roast Toastie and Caramel Apple Tart! The new drinks were so delicious, especially if you have a sweet tooth these really are worth trying! Out of the two new toasties I'd say I preferred the Nacho Chilli Cheese one, it was soooo good and I love the subtle heat from the chilli Overall a lovely time!
