This bakery is honestly on a different level. I just walked past and saw this chocolate mousse, and since I love a good one, I had to try it. It turned out to be one of the best chocolate mousses I’ve had in London. My friend tried the pickled date dessert, and it was also sensational. We’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area.

Amar Cafe is really a hidden gem in Chelsea. Small place, cozy, and very calm. It’s in a beautiful quiet square (Chelsea Common) which makes it perfect to sit and chill. I tried their flat white and it was perfect — smooth and balanced. Also the filter coffee was amazing, very fresh and full of flavour. You can feel they really care about coffee. If you are near Cale Street, you should try it.

Birley has been our go-to local bakery for years, but while we usually go for the pain aux raisins or the ham & cheese croissant (both absolutely delicious) this time round we tried the pain suisse and WOW. We were blown away. Perfectly crunchy, soft and gooey in the middle, its perfection. Bravo!
