Jay Sullivan★★★★After a big week at work, I decided to go and take myself for lunch here. Places high up aren’t always great - the view can lead to complacency. But the food here is good. They had a £49 three-course lunch deal with half a bottle of wine included and it was good value for what it was. I started with the chicken liver parfait. Why? Because as Donkey in Shrek so eloquently put it: “everybody likes parfaits! Have you ever met a person, you say, ‘Let’s get some parfait,’ they say, ‘Hell no, I don’t like no parfait’? Parfaits are delicious!” It was the right sort of rich and smooth and was balan
Ashley Kamangira★The place is very beautiful but the overall service felt dismissive and unwelcoming. We ordered two tiramisu drinks and clearly specified that one should be alcoholic and the other non-alcoholic. After waiting over 20 minutes with no update, we had to chase staff ourselves. When the drinks finally arrived, no one explained which was which despite knowing one of us does not drink alcohol. I had to go to the bar to ask. The waiter who had served told us that his colleague had told him we had ordered both alcoholic drinks, which was incorrect. The drink was eventually replaced but it was droppe
Richard Hall★★★★★The food here is outstanding. The modern style of cooking is perfectly demonstrated here. The dishes are varied and imaginatively created. The dining room is light, airy, modern and relaxed in atmosphere. The serving team is friendly, knowledgeable and well presented. People will look at the prices and make a poorly informed judgement- the standard of cooking is so high the prices are actually very fair for what is served. The set menu lunch of £49 per person as at May 2026 is fantastic value for money. I can’t wait to go for an evening meal and also try the bar of a Friday lunchtime with amaz
Dolly★★★The service started off attentively but noticeably declined as the restaurant got busier. I requested a cocktail menu that never arrived, which was disappointing. The amuse-bouche was underwhelming—simply a small portion of soup served in a shot glass. That said, my starter, the courgette flower, was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, the main course (roasted hake) was dry and tasted like it had been left too long on the pass. Overall, it was a pleasant evening, but I’m not sure we’d return in a hurry. The price didn’t quite match the quality of the experience.
