We were just passing through and needed a place to stop for lunch. Saw decent reviews and decided to give it a go. We were met with a friendly smile and ask around any allergen restrictions. Self-seating and ordering done at the counter or via the app (which was very intuitive). Drinks came out quickly. Food came out in good time too. Beautifully displayed taps (mostly which we ordered). The food and beverages were delicious! Exceeded our expectations for a cafe bar on all accounts! In addition, the staff comped a dessert for us due to a dirty tea cup that was provided to us (minor issue).

I only came in to get out of the sun and to have a drink but I ended up getting two more drinks and ordered food 😂 I was warmly welcomed and and told how ordering and seating works (very helpful and I wish more places did this). I ordered my fist drink at the bar and then used the QR code at the table for the rest of my orders. Food - Always been decent, whilst it's not THE best food I've ever eaten, it's consistently good and usually hits the right hearty spot, whether it's the breakfast, tapas choices or a burger - and the it's good for the price point. Food came quick, the service was fine! It was just the food I found a bit… sub par, especially considering that I spent around £55 for two people, I feel like I should’ve liked something I was served but I didn’t. I’ve been here before only once and the food served tasted okay then, so I don’t know what’s happened. Maybe it’s just me and my picky tastebuds, but the chocolate served on the cookie dough was way too bitter, and the edges of the dough were incredibly burnt. For my main, I ordered the chicken noodles, yet the sauce tasted not very nice to me, but the chicken… that was fine I guess.
