The Ducking Stool was a lovely place to sit, relax, and enjoy some good vibes. The atmosphere felt welcoming and comfortable, making it a nice spot to take a break and enjoy a treat. I really loved their Kinder Bueno milkshake. It was rich, creamy, and full of flavour. The customer service was also great, with friendly and helpful staff who made the visit even better. Definitely a place I would visit again. Great vibes, great service, and a really good milkshake.

The Ducking Stool is a quirky little cafe tucked away in Christchurch back roads, boasting a huge selection of drinks and snacks to cater for everyone! The prices are very reasonable for the portions you are given! The milkshakes for example are served with premium brand chocolate and taste amazing! The service was quick and easy, the staff seemed very friendly and enthusiastic which was very refreshing!

I love the vibes of this place which is why I've been a few times (for a coffee), but I do feel they should offer some savoury options, I understand if they don't want to offer cooked breakfast or brunch but even some sandwiches, crisps, nibbles or breakfast pastries would be great, otherwise I struggle to see why I should go here; I cant have breakfast or lunch. I have tried a couple of cakes and believe they are usually frozen or bought in, they arent great really. The coffee, service/staff and ambience on the other hand are fantastic and a lot of the items they sell are very cute.
