Stopped by August Bakery, and what a find. The coconut and espresso bun was something else I'm telling you... that toasted coconut on top, with the coffee flavour coming through every bite, was a nice little treat. The cardamom bun was fluffy, fragrant, and not too sweet, just as I like. The staff were so warm and welcoming, making the whole visit feel like dropping in on a friend. The place itself has such a cosy, laid-back vibe. One of those spots you want to keep to yourself! Such a lovely place.

Get here early! Been meaning to go here since it opened as I had followed the previous home based business (Robins Bakery & Provisions) since lockdown, but every time I pass on the weekend there's a big queue and I never have time to stop! Visited on a weekday lunchtime, although a decent queue it moves quickly. Clearly very popular in the local area! Between us we had a veggie foccacia sandwich (excellent fillings - artichoke, courgette, whipped ricotta, pecorino, almonds, salad & herbs - so fresh!) fennel serano ham and cheese pastry, a passionfruit coconut pastry and a coconut espresso bun

The serrano swirl was sensational. I got the espresso and coconut bun to make up for the sold out banana brule and whilst the lamination was impeccable, it was disappointing not having any cream inside in fact I didn't finish it. Nonetheless an amazing bakery, you can tell everything is super high quality

I heard about this bakery but didn’t manage to go until today. I went at around 11.45 am as I had not had breakfast yet, and there was a queue to get in, and another for ordering what they prepared for today. It did go fast, and I ordered the rhubarb tart, the pan suisse, the pain aux chocolate, and another delicious cake that I forgot the name of. All of them were incredible, flaky, fresh, unforgettable morsels of pure pleasure. I also ordered an Apple juice of very good quality. The space was full but I managed to sit down and eat calmly. I will definitely go back many times to sample the re
