I have gone to lockdown a few times and never had the best experience. The coffee is good for takeaways but I would not recommend eating in. I went again today to give it a try and was disappointed by the food which was bland and poorly cooked. We had the vegetarian breakfast wrap and it was plain raw spinach, scrambled eggs, halloumi which tasted boiled, and sour cream. No seasoning at all. By the time we flagged someone down to get salt and pepper the food had gone cold. The service was inattentive and even a bit rude at times and the place itself was filthy. Wonderful bakery with a laidback vibe near Wandsworth Town station. Coffee was silky and smooth. The lemon and blueberry muffin was delicious, but a bit too bready to warrant five stars (I have a strict criteria for muffins). I also tried the pork sausage roll, which was small but mighty. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options.

Hidden Gem. Get there early for the sandwiches & toasties - they are delicious! Pastrami toastie is amazing. Lamingtons, cinnamon buns, pastries rank with the very best. There's often a line at the take-away door, but it's quick, efficient and cheerful service with a smile, so don't be discouraged. Flat Whites and lattes are well done. Go for a morning run along the Thames and stop here for your reward. It's worth running the extra miles for!
