My partner took me out for lunch as I'd had a busy week decorating ours and our son's new place. The roast was very good and served promptly and was piping hot. On the way out I bought 2 portions of rocky road cake to have later watching the football; it was absolutely marvellous, will definitely be back, even if it's only for the cake. Well done all concerned.

Great and friendly neighbourhood pub. We had a great time here. Booked a place for a Sunday roast for Father’s Day. Nicely Surprised, when we arrived, we were told meals are half priced for fathers on that day. I ordered the lamb pie there, which is great as it is pastry all around rather than like some pubs provided pie in a dish with only pastry on the top. We will come back again for Steak and Ale pie. Thank you.
