A Must-Visit for Darlington Restaurant Week! ​It was a pleasure to return to Tre Amici for Darlington Restaurant Week. Visiting from Spain, I was eager to see if it still lived up to its reputation—and it absolutely did. ​The Food: Outstanding quality and incredible value. The meatballs were smothered in perfectly melted cheese, and the chicken and chorizo risotto was packed with flavor. We asked for a table for 2 adults and 2 children on a busy Valentines evening, after trying a few places before. The owner, I'm guessing, said they'll fit us in, even without a reservation. I'm so grateful they could do that. After travelling for a few hours up North we were tired and very hungry! Luckily the portions are generous and the food is delicious! Went to tre Amici for the first time yesterday to celebrate finding out that my first granddaughter is to be born. I went with my son and daughter in law and her mother, grandmother,and sister. First off I was impressed with the décor of tre Amici. Second the staff were very friendly and attentive and we were quickly shown to a table and our food and drinks order taken. The food quickly arrived and I was impressed with the portion sizes of the food. I had a cheese garlic bread which was listed as a starter with chips and garlic dip. The chips where well done just as I asked for and were lovely
