We've been using Trawlers Fish Bar for years. since being "under new management", The quality has improved slightly. We always expect a GOOD SIZED portion of well cooked chips (Not too soggy or Too Crispy). From Kebabs, Sausages, Saveloy, scollops, lots of Sauces, burgers to the battered COD have all been good (NOT Outstanding) but good.. "Overpriced and not worth the money. As you can see in the photo, the item on the left was £9, while the one on the right was £5.50. Calling the 'jumbo' sausage 'jumbo' is a joke; it was actually the size of a mini sausage and certainly wasn't even medium-sized."

Formerly the best, now easily the worst. Genuinely convinced none of the recent positive reviews ate from the same chip shop as me. Gone back a few times but since it’s been taken over for the 20th time it’s gone downhill massively. 1 star on health rating, should be closed down. Ruined.

Can't for the life of me understand some of these reviews, since trawlers has been taken over It has become one of the best chip shops Around! Me and my family use the shop Once a week and have never had a problem!! Staff are friendly New owners also friendly& Very chatty! This one star on the that everyone is talking about on the food/hygiene rating came from the previous owner I mean you can tell just by looking at the shop the difference!! Overall gets a 10/10 from me New options to the menu like the Greek gyros is to die for! Always fresh food and never had a problem personally
