The flavour was unreal, unlike anything I have ever tasted. Best Italian food ever. The olive oil tastes amazing , the pizza and pasta were delicious. I was a little worried based on photos of the pasta portion sizes as I have a big appetite but it was a very large portion and satisfied me. I don’t fully agree with people saying it’s pricey, it’s 2026 and mine and my partners order at harvester comes to around £60 for both of us and the food is no where near as good as h

The first garlic bread was over done as the edges were burnt and the garlic on it so I asked for a replacement which was duly done. The cannelloni was of generous portion but would have preferred it if it had proportionate amount of tomato sauce as it was fairly dry. I wanted a hot dessert so opted for apple and plum crumble which came with vanilla ice cream, although I would have preferred custard. The crumble looked raw and floury. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning. I would personally recommend the Ballotine.

After a warm welcome, what we learned in conversation with the manager is that this not just a name change. Saporii (meaning tasty or flavour) is a new Italian restaurant with new owners, new management, new chef and new menu. The intention is to focus the menu to reflect an authentic Italian experience,concentrating on taste and flavour.
