Really nice pub which I’ve visited with friends and family for a good few years. I stayed away for a good while as it’s started to get crazily busy too often and was often full of groups of people, some intent on trouble and going as a couple you’d feel walk you were walking on eggshells waiting for something to kick off. However I decided for the first time this year to give it another try. Thankfully the trouble I was put off by seems to be behind them. I’ve been twice in the last few weeks with my wife as part of both our wedding anniversary and my birthday and the pub was very welcoming.

Great pub with a wide range of cask beers. Lovely crowd out in the beer garden. To top it all a good Thai restaurant 'hidden' upstairs - where I had the best Tom Yam soup ever
