Love the Victorian vibe. I ordered avocado and egg toast which was good. The cappuccino was delicious. But the vanilla custard pastry (aka Danish pastry) was the best. It was not soft or soggy which I have tasted often. It was slightly crunchy and soft inside. Just perfect! The custard was not too little so it was nice. The atmosphere was great. The place was filled will oldies and French songs. Not too loud. A conversation is possible.

The Victorian location is superb, with seating both inside and outside. The prices are great. Food was okay, not memorable in my opinion. Staff was super friendly and always smiling. Waiting time was a bit long tho

The rain started to pour down so we popped in to Cafe 44. It took us two seconds to find out it was the perfect choice. Beautiful atmosphere, great staff and a very kind and helpful manager. The food and coffee was also very good. I will absolutely recommend this place and will definitely come back. Thank you!

Fabulous breakfasts made local ingredients and beautifully presented. The teas and espresso drinks are also delicious - a cozy place with great service and wonderful breakfast offerings. We especially loved the Croque Madame special!
