Absolutely awful experience at The Kings Arms for my birthday. I had booked a table for 22 people weeks in advance and even had to put down a £100 hold on my card to secure the booking. When we arrived, the table wasn’t even ready — it was dirty and we were left sitting there for around 10 minutes looking through the menu waiting for things to be sorted. Great pub in a super convenient location and has a really good overall vibe. It’s definitely become one of my go-to spots. The outdoor booths are a highlight, especially for bigger groups – really comfortable with cushions and blankets which is a nice touch. Food is also very good, although a little pricey for what it is. That said, there are a few things that could be improved. There’s sometimes an unpleasant smell between the indoor and outdoor areas, which lets the atmosphere down a bit. Football showing on our visit. Very busy, very loud, very fun. Good drinks, only had a snack but am, sure the food would be good too, and the best staff. Grab a visit if you don't need to park a car 😀

I loved this place 2 years ago, but went for my birthday yesterday and there were 150 people too many. Queueing 20 mins for a drink, 15 mins for a bathroom. Have to push past everyone. The music is amazing but if they tighten up the doors itll be much better for everyone!
