Just visited this PizzaExpress near the city centre (Eastbourne)and it was a great spot for a relaxed meal. We came between lunch and dinner, so it was fairly quiet — which actually made the whole experience feel even more chill and pleasant. We ordered pizza, pasta, and some sides — everything came out fresh and nicely done. The pizza had a great base (crispy but not too dry), and the pasta was comforting and tasty. Service was great. Food was average. Atmosphere was ok, maybe better if w hadn't arrived to a kids party in full swing & then a problem with the alarm system. No offer of a discount but many apologies from the staff for the noise. It went on for ages though & we'd have left if we hadn't already ordered so a discount would have been appreciated.
