We visited Bar + Block Steakhouse recently and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The service was friendly, attentive, and well-timed throughout the meal without feeling rushed. The food was genuinely impressive and very good value for the quality and portion sizes. I had the roast, which was cooked beautifully with tender meat, crispy roast potatoes, and all the usual trimmings done just right. My wife had a steak, cooked exactly as requested and full of flavour, clearly prepared with care. Portions were generous and satisfying, and everything arrived hot and well presented.

Went for our anniversary on a Monday night so was quite quiet. Our waitress was lovely, friendly and efficient. We settled on having a sirloin steak each, though there was so much choice. Our food was cooked to order and to perfection. Our waitress was attentive but not pushy but friendly. Desserts, again a few choices we could have had. Drinks were brought to the table by another very friendly member of staff. All in all a really good restaurant that's a hidden gem, even though it's on Princes Street, definitely worth a visit.

Visited here today for a birthday dinner for my daughter. Starters, 2 main dishes and 7 small plates for other 2 mains. Peter was our server and was amazing! Very courteous and very pleasant. It wasn't until paying bill that I mentioned it was my daughter's birthday. On leaving he presented her with a box of chocolates. Such a nice touch 👏

This was THE BEST steak dinner I’ve had. I had the Sirloin with fries and it was amazing! It was super tender and perfect cooked. Our waitress Olga was super welcoming and kind. I will be back.
