Had a great breakfast here with friends. We were staying next door and wanted something quick on our first morning in town. Decent cappuccino and good espresso. The pastries were good and their breakfast bowls were excellent. Polite, friendly staff who seemed to work very well together. There is seating inside and outside weather permitting. It is a very small place so if there aren't seats and people don't look like they are moving you may be in for a bit of a wait.

We came across this lovely little cafe very near to our accommodation when we were looking for somewhere to have breakfast. The lovely young lady there was so friendly and welcoming and the menu was extensive and impressive. I had the smashed avocado on sourdough with halloumi and chilli jam. It was delicious. My friends had the XL Scottish breakfast and it certainly didn’t disappoint. We were so impressed that we went back again the following morning before we left for home. Nice interior, we came around lunchtime on a Saturday and we're the only customers until more arrived just before we finished. Extensive menu which I find concerning, food and service was average at best, particularly my ham, cheese and tomato toastie. Many other localities nearby by.

My mum and I were at the Edinburgh Christmas markets and after some shopping we were looking for a place to get some late lunch/early dinner, we fancied some soup and we came across this cafe. We both got the soup of the day which was lentil and omg it was amazing! Just what we needed to warm and fill us up it was delicious. 😋 This is a lovely wee cafe and I recommend it if you're after a cosy atmosphere & comforting food 🥰
