Custom whisky flight! The bartender asked me a few questions to put together my flight and asked my cost range. I said £30 and it ended up being £28 which was nice. I think her selections matched well and I came away with my fave whiskey I tasted for the trip! She also took the time to tell me a bit about the whiskey (where it’s made, tasting notes, etc) Also love the ambiance inside because who doesn't love cute black cat art!

We were the first customers for lunch. It was recommended by Wayfaring Kiwi (guide and blogger). Good choice. They had delicious small bites for lunch. We had a flight of whiskies. They were very knowledgeable and eager to create the perfect flight for our taste. Success!

Was served by a charming young gentleman named Robbie. I came in for an alcohol-free cider which was sadly not available. However the staff sorted us out with lots of great recommendations.

Was wonderful to participate in our first pub quiz (and not coming in plumb last). The bar food was good (esp the chicken wings) and the IPAs were superb. The pub quiz was really fun and we hope to take part in one again soon!
