I’m really disappointed with my recent visit. I waited over 20 minutes for a mix shish and chicken box, which is already longer than expected. When I politely asked for a bit more sauce, I was refused and told I already had enough. When I got home, I realised they had forgotten to include the bread, which is one of the main reasons I come here in the first place. I come for their bread and sauce, and not getting it was very frustrating. On top of that, the sauce packaging is not good enough. An amazing experience from the team at Efes. A wonderful owner/host and team of cooks who we could watch preparing the food. A generous fresh bread, sauce and salad came first followed by our mixed grills. I added lamb doner to try and was gifted some lovely chicken doner at the end of the meal. It was all so tasty, fresh and hot. Just a superb meal. Thanks all.

‘JEWEL IN THE CROWN’ I was on the hunt for a decent Shawarma & came across this place late one evening. It’s a magnet for students, so I figured it was worth a go. The menu is more geared to eating in dining & prices reflected that. However the go to recommendation is there ‘Box Meal’ which for £7.50 you get Shawarma Chicken, chips, salad, garlic & chilli sauce. Honestly it was a 9.5/10, great value, plenty of chicken & taste was amazing. Apparently they marinade all the meats themselves.

Delicious food and great flavors – everything we tried was fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Service can be a bit slow when it’s busy, but the quality of the food makes up for the wait. Definitely worth visiting!
