Half-baked and nothing special. The great deal of £9.99 for a 15” pizza is too good to be true as mine was soggy, slightly burnt on the edges and poorly sliced. Such a shame as the ingredients used looked great. However, the whole thing needed cooking in my own oven once home (10 minutes away) just to melt all the cheese and make sure it was all baked through.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with La Basque. I placed an order and waited over an hour with no update or communication from the restaurant. After waiting that long, I had to call myself, only to be told that my order had been cancelled because I live around four miles away. What is completely unacceptable is that the order was accepted in the first place and left pending for over an hour instead of being cancelled immediately. If the restaurant was unable or unwilling to deliver to my address, that should have been communicated straight away rather than leaving a customer wa
