I recently visited Central Cafe and had a mixed experience overall. We ordered an Americano, a cappuccino, a milk chocolate cheesecake, and a tiramisu. Starting with the positives, the coffee was decent — nothing exceptional, but definitely not bad. Both the Americano and cappuccino were acceptable and did the job. However, the desserts were quite disappointing. The milk chocolate cheesecake, in particular, did not taste fresh at all. The place was lovely and clean, and the staff were friendly. As meals had finished at 2:30, I just had a tea. My wife had the same and added a Victorian sponge type cake, which tasted very nice. The total came to £10, which I felt was very reasonable.

We ordered a Large Full English breakfast and a Veggie Breakfast. The presentation was good. I can't complain about the quality and quantity of food on the plate. Good service too. A good, solid breakfast to start the day.
