By far the nicest meal we had in Harrogate! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. We were looking for a white to start and were recommended an unwooded Chardonnay (viña Echeverría )which would never normally be my choice. It was delicious. Then the food arrived, which was one of the best fish pies. I think I’ve ever tasted (that was Melinda’s ! ) and I had the venison Wellington served with dauphinoise potatoes and tenderstem broccoli. The meat was cooked to perfection and the pastry perfect one of the best venison Wellingtons I have ever had. Again, I was recommended a Malb
