We dropped into Thai Corner (St Paul’s Rd, Islington), without a reservation, during a particularly hot May Bank Holiday evening. The restaurant was empty as most people were still out drinking, as we had been earlier, but that suited my friend and I perfectly as we could continue our chatty catch-up without worrying about disturbing other diners. The owners had a fan on-hand too, which at +31 degrees evening temperatures was VERY welcome. I ordered a lovely freshly prepared Chicken Pad Thai with added King Prawns, to my preference, with a side plate of Gyoza’s which were light and flavourful.
