I've walked past here on a Sunday morning walk along the Thames many times, and always said I'd pop in one day, well today was that 'one day'! I didn't have a reservation but the staff were very welcoming of a walk in and offered me choice of indoor or outdoor seating. The restaurant has a lovely terrace with a good mix of shade and sun so I opted for a shady outdoor table. Service was friendly and prompt. There was a set menu of 2 courses for £20 or 3 courses for £24, and although that's something I'd usually go for, today I had my heart set on something different. I started with oysters

Another amazing experience at Gazette last night. We had the French onion soup, the Chateaubriand cooked medium (absolutely perfect), and the legendary Haaaaaammmmm for dessert — everything was outstanding, as always. The service was excellent: friendly, attentive, and professional. I’ve visited this restaurant several times now, and the manager already recognizes me, which makes it feel like my VIP place. That personal touch really means a lot. Consistently great food, great service, and a place I’ll keep coming back to. Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful impromptu meal at Gazette. We used to go to the one in Battersea but saw this one opposite the bus stop on our way to Clapham and it was even better. Ordered Quail for me and Bavette steak and chips for my daughter. The food was delicious, a real treat and good value as I ordered from the set menu, two courses for £20. It was also quiet and sunny, a perfect Easter treat. The service was so welcoming, I will definitely be back!
