The food was amazing, especially the pigs in blankets they were divine. It was very yorkshire. The staff are very nice and kind. The only complaint is they don't have Gluten Free alternatives to the gluten items.

Booked sunday lunch for 2pm.Venue itself has a nice atmosphere, staff where friendly and polite however the food let us down. Yorkshire puddings where dry and burnt, mash cold and lumpy, roasties where dry, gravy seemed to be rationed even when we asked for more a tiny gravy boat was brought out. So many good reviews but we left disappointed unfortunately.

Came in for a meal on Saturday with my family, despite being busier bar staff managed to squeeze us in which was lovely, all staff that I interacted with are so warm and welcoming! Our table was served by a female member of staff (not sure of her name) who gave us recommendations of the new food menu items, I went with the seabream and it was delicious! Will definitely be back such a cosy pub environment with lovely food and even lovelier staff!! We came in around 4pm and as we were leaving it did get a bit busier (I believe the upstairs was fully booked) so i’d recommend booking especially fo
