Since this is situated in the heart of the city, it is quite busy and now McDonald's share the load and it is nice cozy place to enjoy the meal or a break. The food is good as most of the time, service need to be stepped up a bit.

The coffee and drinks at Tim Hortons Leicester East Gates are amazing, but the customer service today was terrible. I bought two drinks and showed my rewards card for the 9th drink free offer. The staff asked for my order number and told me to show it, so I showed my receipt. Then the manager started being rude, shouting at me, making faces, and said “can you not read?” in front of everyone. I asked her why she was being rude and said, “Is this how you talk to customers?” She kept saying they were busy, but honestly that’s not the customer’s fault. Not the nicest Tim's I've been to, as quite untidy cold, loud and it's never a good look when theres security on the door. My wrap was very loose & poorly assembled, I'm sure others may be better Clientele was very young and quite loud too, which didn't help. Temporary I'm sure.
