Really disappointed as there seemed to be a lot of hype around this place and a lot of local people were upset it was closing, so when I saw it was back open again I was excited to give it a go. We got there after 2pm, the place was busy but every table already had their food so we thought this would be quite quick (we had quiet a lot still to do that day) so we ordered and sat down. After 15 mins we still hadn’t had tea we ordered. When we chased it up she bought it over and apologised and said they had to wait for the water to heat up. Ordered a beef stew with bloomer and poppadoms. Got what can only be described as slop with beef and mash. Bread not even sliced and no poppadoms. Called restaurant and they will refund my Just Eat UK account. Where is my bowl of soup! Was going to go here to eat but I think not now. — at The Oliver and Hare.
