Had my last solo dinner in East London at this very highly reviewed Somalian restaurant and could immediately tell I made the right choice. Hard to go wrong with a lamb shoulder, the meat was so tender and well flavored. The soup was a perfect starter, and the mountain of rice paired perfectly with the meat and veggies! I loved the rice and wish I had more time to check out other dishes on the menu!

This was a fantastic find in Leyton and true to the 5* rating that it has on Google! The restaurant often seems empty and quiet but don't let that put you off! The portions are massive and the taste of the food is also great with some complimentary dishes as well. The server was very friendly and suggested a few dishes for us to try since we were not used to this kind of food. I recently visited Las Restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely amazing — full of flavor and perfectly prepared. I also want to give a special mention to Saddam, the waiter who served us. He was very helpful, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. Amazing Somali food! The flavours are rich and comforting, and the portions are very generous. Everything we tried was delicious and clearly freshly prepared. The service was also excellent — friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend the lamb shoulder: incredibly tender, full of flavour, and cooked perfectly. Definitely a place I’d come back to.
