Best cone of chips in years. Takes you back to how chips used to be, plenty of salt, proper vinegar (not watered down crap) crispies all at the bottom and cooked to perfection. I am a real food critic 🫢 and these are 11/10! Recommend 👌

Was working in Whittington and fancied fish & chips for tea. After seeing the solid score of 4.7 and a work colleague strongly recommending it I didn’t think twice. Arrived and place looked lovely with that old school charm. Could tell this place has been around for a long time. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Decent chippy. Generous portions, reasonable prices, battered burger was nice. I noticed they had gyros (albeit seemed a bit dry) but is a lovely addition. Everything was made to order so it took some time. I prefer to wait and then enjoy the hot food (and burning my tongue) but that's just me!

A hidden gem in Lichfield, so glad I found this place. Just 2-minute walk from the train station, definitely worth a try. A well-managed family business. Friendly and efficient services, competitive prices and of course most importantly, great food. Probably the best fish I have had recently. They named it Mini Fish, but the size was actually okay. Will come back in the future if I get another chance of visiting Lichfield.
