My go-to chippy in Lisburn. All of the food is good quality and reasonably priced. No after taste from using over used oil in the fryers. Not too many smiling faces from the counter staff but the food makes up for it.

I walked in to this chippy, within 2 seconds I was asked what I wanted. I didn’t have time to read the menu but I said just having a quick look. The woman who asked turned to her coworkers and one of the other workers clapped their hands at me and I was asked again “do you know what you want?”. I said I was just about to order. She followed it up with “well we’re closing now so.. “ It was 10 minutes until 9pm and they were serving a lad in front of us. I wouldn’t have minded if they just said they were shut but I didn’t appreciate the attitude of the workers and getting clapped at.

If Anderson’s had a suggestions box I go with “ how about instead of trying to cater to people that can’t afford a fish supper, maybe don’t fillet your fish 2 maybe 3 times and charge £13 for a fish and a pastie supper ” I’ll happily pay £20 for a good portion of chips and proper fillet of fish cooked properly and I’d dare say they majority of customers would also agree, do better or close the door. This used to be a decent chip shop but obviously the owners care more about profits than quality of food.

Here for the first time for food after moving to Hilden from Belfast & I must say, its the best chippy I've ever had. Food was amazing! I wanted a small chip but looked like a large chip, really good portions.
