We booked online having found the restaurant on Google maps. When we arrived we were met straight away and shown to our table. Service was friendly and efficient and the meal was excellent and served very quickly. We would recommend Sultan's Palace for a good, reasonably priced meal. We will definitely come back next time we're visiting Liverpool.

Amazing hidden gem in Liverpool. Don't be put off by the walk downstairs to this subterranean restaurant; once down there is is quite big taking up the cellars of at least two properties. It is well decorated and reasonably light and airy for the complete lack of windows. The service was good and the food well above average of its type and priced in the mid range.

Food was good; I only got appetizers so didn’t really get to try any main dishes. Service was fantastic, even though they had an almost full house! My server, Samran was kind and attentive. The chicken was soft and easy to eat! I wouldn’t get the lamp chops again; lamp chops tend to be a hit or miss. And the masala chips were delicious
