Absolutely love this little pub, it’s just down the road from my workplace so we come here often for lunches and drinks after work. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming and there’s a good atmosphere. The garden is lovely in the summer and definitely worth a visit. Drinks are reasonably priced and their food is great value for money and always really tasty. They currently have salt and pepper chicken in bbq sauce on their specials which I would definitely recommend. Overall a lovely little local pub which I love to visit regularly and would recommend to anyone in the area!

We moved nearby a year ago and have spent as long looking for a really decent pub to call our own. I think we've found it. In the very, very best possible way a 'proper' pub and I imagine we'll return regularly. We went in for a Sunday roast and found plenty of parking, a welcoming atmosphere (all the staff were very friendly and helpful), a really first rate Sunday roast (nothing soggy or microwavey here), and most importantly, lashings of excellent gravy. Having to ask for extra gravy in the 21st century would be an appaling situation, I'm most glad the kitchen here recognises the importance

I don't know how this has a 4.6 rating! The general appearance of the po in was poor- paint peeling, weedy and broken paving on entrance and unclean and dark. We waited 45 mins for our Sunday lunch and the coffee machine was turned off so couldn't get coffee. The food when it came was adequate but pudding was apple crumble which was soggy with instant powdery custard.
