We had an enjoyable meal at the Spice Den, the restaurant was smart, clean and very well presented with luxurious décor. The menu had a good range of dishes, what we ordered was tasty and flavourful. The prices also seemed really reasonable. Two of the waiting staff were very friendly and accommodating, the only thing that let the experience down was being hurried along towards the end of our meal by the more senior male waiter. Allegedly there was another booking on our table after us, I don’t think this was the case as there were a number of empty tables and no one arrived for the table.

THE best Indian restaurant, in the world. We come here every week. My wife asked for Chicken Phaal, not on the menu, and the chef delivers each and every time. Happy wife, happy life. On top of that my meal is brill and the service is superb. Excellent and highly recommend

I did a quick search on Google Maps and found this place with good reviews and they were definitely not wrong. Everything from the decor , the friendly staff and the food was spot on. My Jalfrezi was just right , nice and hot and full of flavour and my work mate tried his first Bhuna and he loved it. The rice and naans were also very good! I'd definitely return next time I'm in the area and definitely recommend it 💯👍🏻

Have given this place a miss for a while as thought that it had gone downhill. Ordered a takeaway tonight and after a few mouthfuls it's gone in the bin. It is beyond bland. Got Chicken Biryani that seems like boiled chicken in plain rice. Not a hint of flavour in fact the one Iceland do frozen for £2 puts it to shame. Watery Bombay potato with mushy potatoes and again no hint of flavour. A vegetable curry that on sight I wouldn't even try as it just looked greasy and watery. Will not give this place another go
