We visited The Deacon on Father's Day with my partner, our children, and my partners parents, and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Despite how busy it was due to the Lytham Car Show, we received a very warm welcome from Jacob, the gentleman at the front who showed us to our table. There was quite a queue at the bar which had formed alongside our table, but he quickly recognised this and moved the queue elsewhere so that we could be seated comfortably. It was a thoughtful touch that immediately set the tone for the visit. He continued to go above and beyond throughout our meal.

The Deacon is honestly one of our favourite places in Lytham. Every time we visit, the staff make us feel so welcome — they’re friendly, attentive and create such a lovely family atmosphere. The food is absolutely amazing, full of flavour and beautifully presented every single time. Whether you sit inside or outside, the setting is spot on and always feels relaxed and special. You can tell a lot of care goes into everything they do, from the service to the atmosphere. A perfect place for family meals, drinks, or just enjoying a great evening. Nice dog-friendly heated outdoor seating on this mid-week, mid-afternoon visit. The food was nice; salmon salad was tasty as was the king prawn soft tacos. The rest was ok. Took a bit of time for our food, but we weren’t in a rush so that was ok. Food and drink for 3 people included a 10% service charge, total about £90
