Visited here on Wednesday and was quite disappointed with the service. No staff behind the bar had to wait a while for someone to come out and be served and staff were quite unfriendly. Staff were painting the blackboards and there was black paint on one of the chairs which stained my friends clothing. Shame as have had good experiences here in the past

Nice bar with character, with decent selection of craft beer and some cocktails. The raised booths work really well and there is plenty of outdoor seating. The beers were too repetitive though, hazy pale session ales and some larger. Obviously they are needed, but it would be nice to have some variety. Only 2 of the casks were on (Monday lunchtime), which was a disappointment too. (One cask being Dunham Gold - which is brewed for strength not taste). They had run out of fresh mint, so no mojitos, meaning we went for G&T. Which with fresh lime, was very nice. Overall I would say, good bar bu
