I was part of a group of 20 people booked in for lunch today 1st May 26. We booked the table, in person, a couple of weeks ago and was asked if we could provide a £5 deposit per head. Asked about pre ordering and was told not necessary. We paid the £100 deposit, again in person, asked again about pre ordering and was again told not necessary. We arrived today and the table was arranged beautifully and the pub looked lovely. We asked if they would like us to order individually when we purchased our drinks and was told no they would do it at the table. The young lady came and took our order. I

My friend Paula and I come for lunch every couple of months it is always lovely food, great service and a welcoming atmosphere, Wendy who has served us many times is an asset to the place as she is always very welcoming, happy and a pleasant person. We were a large party of 25, adults and children. Everything went seamlessly from the pre-order, and the layout was great ie L-shaped table in a private room. The food (especially the Sunday roast and desserts!) were enjoyed by all, and the staff were lovely. Highly recommended!
