Me and my partner don't live in Norwich but travel in and Slice and Dice is part of the reason why we come so regularly! Every time we go, the service is impeccable, the menu is so well thought out, changes regularly with a delicious variety of dishes, the chefs are clearly confident and creative with some of the amazing food on the menu and it arrives cooked to absolute perfection every single time. I went here for afternoon tea, just looking for a vegan cafe while travelling. Didn’t know it was also a board games cafe until I got there. A nice surprise, and boy did it look well kitted-out for it! Shelves and shelves of games to play off the shelf while you eat, and a decent amount of games for sale there, too. The food was excellent. I just had the chicken wrap (a lunch menu item) which was brilliant and refreshing on the hot summer day. Been wanting to visit for ages and finally got the chance to! Booked in advance, the menu was extensive and all of the food was delicious (impressing even my meat-eating friends!). Many board and card games, our host was charismatic and attentive, offering to explain any of the games if we needed so our time would be better spent. Great variety, especially for someone like me who finds it tricky to focus on tabletop games. Bit pricey, but for the experience it was worth it.

Enjoyed a quick bite to eat before heading to the cinema! Chicken-style nuggets served with house hot 'honey', tater tots with garlic parm seasoning, and grilled corn with garlic butter. The flavours were punchy, and every bite was savoured. With a house-made strawberry lemonade to round it off. We’ll most definitely be back to taste more of the menu, and enjoy some games too!
