I paid a visit here on the 16th of march 2026. I ordered a flat white and a sweet accompaniment, a chocolate fudge brownie with a cornflake topping. Both were good, though the coffee could have done with being a bit hotter. Service was a little bit on the slow side I'm being picky. The coffee was definitely better than what it was in the coffee shop on the other side of the road.

Food is good - they have an interesting take on English breakfast. Service is very slow - it was table service. We waited to get our food around 40 minutes. We were asked how our food was once we already had finished eating. All cutlery and plates we were given were dirty. There was old fat on the plates from previous meals, cutlery had dried food on them. Did not get to tell the waiting staff, as they were inside for the majority of the time, and we were very hungry by the time we received our food. Fantastic breakfast. I didn’t want the huge veggie option so asked if I could just have smashed avocado on toast with a side of toasted tomatoes. Was excellent value and really tasty. Coffee and tea was excellent too. Definitely be returning
