This was a spontaneous visit as we were walking by and decided to pop in for a drink. The fact that there is a Thai restaurant in the pub was a pleasant surprise and we decided to stay put for lunch and what a decision it was. The food was fresh, flavoursome and delicious. One of us went for the set lunch menu made up of a starter, a main (stir fry tofu with chilli) with jasmine rice. The portions were good and filling. Really wanted to like this place but food was just okay. We ordered the pad sew ew and sea bass with tamarind sauce. The pad sew ew was slightly too salty and flavour was not balanced, and the sauce on the sea bass was quite bland. Note there is also a service charge even when ordering at the bar with no table service.

Service could use a bit more attention — a few missed orders and some uncertainty about the menu — but the staff are genuinely friendly and eager to help. It can get quite busy, so making a reservation is a smart move. Overall, a great spot worth visiting!

It was nice having an open space with so many people; the only downside was that the bees were keen to eat our food too. We got a spread of dishes, which all of them were served warm. The crispy pork and duck had a nice crunch and was tender on the inside. The chicken pad thai was decent and fairly standard. The last dish shown here is pineapple curry, which I personally felt was mos
