The quality at Gail’s for cappuccino, coffee, and croissants is very good. The bread is excellent; the seeded sourdough is my favorite very tasty and if you want, they can slice it for you, ready for the table. Excellent service. The staff is very kind and helpful. The background music is very soft, which makes it a perfect environment for meeting friends or studying. The restroom is very clean, but unfortunately not accessible for wheelchairs. Recommended.

We love Gail's, but today it fell a bit short. The food came out quick enough as we decided to sit and enjoy our coffee and food. Cutlery was filthy, I could feel bits of food all over the handles and blade of the knife. Coffee machine broke so we were offered complimentary tea or fruit juice. We were told we'd get a refund on our coffees. 15 minutes later the coffee machine was working again but we had been forgotten about. Had to queue up to let them know we were still waiting for our coffee. Asked for it takeaway and my girlfriend got it in a cup. 🫤 I understand busy, but between 4 of you

Cakes were decent enough. Coffee not the best. It was super quiet. The staff were stood around on their phones doing nothing while most of the tables and floor were dirty. They should be cleaning when there's nothing else to do
