Been meaning to swing by Pata Negra for a while. Although it doesn’t look eye catching from the outside it does have a cosy vibe. The atmosphere is a little dated and the family run vibe is very authentic, right down to the very laid back approach of serving the food by plonking it down on the table and the walking off. The food was a solid ok, nothing to write home about but generally enjoyable. The pork belly was a little hard and had a pre-cooked feel but it was tasty. Lovely hidden gem. Met a local who suggested we go here for lunch. Had the croquets and then a wonderful pork chop as a table d'hote for £12 per person. Amazing value, the pork chop was divine and probably worth twice that on its own.

I’ve lived close to this restaurant for years and only just got around to trying it last night. It’s such a charming, cozy spot that makes you feel like you’ve been transported to Spain. The staff and the owner are extremely friendly. The owner seems to know many of the guests, which gives the place a true local feel. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food was exceptional, full of flavor and good quality!

Lovely little gem in Putney! Beautifully cooked, genuine Spanish food is so hard to come by in London but this place nailed it. The waitress was super helpful at answering our questions and anything she couldn’t answer was directed to the owner who was cooking solo in the kitchen. Had a really nice chat with both of them when settling up the bill at closing. Will be back in the not too distant future to try the rest of the menu!
