Siobhan, great warm efficient welcom thank you. Lovely start to our stay to be booked in by you. Stayed in Durham suite. Had booked another suite but they Siobhan moved us to this newer uodated room which was appreciated. Newly refurbished very big room with huge bay windows overlooking the sea. Great walk in shower. Nicely furnished. Really lovely communal corridors and stairwells. Very smart large bar and restaurant and brekkie buffet was amazing. The chap in the breakfast romm (could be Steve, so sorry I forgot your name) as alwlays attentive and nice chap. Great value for money. Defo wi

Sunday carvery lunch. Excellent top quality carvery. The basics, plenty of them and hot. Tender roast flavourful beef, top 10 toasties and crispy tasty yorkies. Honestly one of the best dessert menus I've ever come across. Plenty of choice and nicely presented by the staff. Nice coffee. Downside is that it's very tight fit parking but there is plenty of spaces in Fisherman's square 100m away. Excellent value as is attested to by how busy it is. Best to book

Used to go carvery a number of times as was lovely. Last time 3 times it was very poor. Mash had no taste. Everything was luke warm including gravy so from highly recommend to keep away. Wont be giving this place another chance

Went for lunch. Says home made chicken burger which is was not. Burnt bun , over cooked frozen burger. Tomato looked vial. Been before was about a 7/10 . Place was empty. Tried again today place was empty on a friday afternoon. Says a lot. Told staff after our meal food was shocking. Responded with ok what can I get you. All in all I would avoid. Chef clearly cares none to serve that when was 2 tables for food. 2/10 because the onion rings and chips were edible how ever not good.
