Not happy! The young man who took our drinks order was lovely. Unfortunately, the young girl serving us seemed to struggle taking our order. She's probably new or shy, not a problem. As I didn't want chops I had a smaller portion of chicken with salad. However, as we had to wait over an hour for our food, Id eaten my salad! My Sister in law had steak, she had a vein through the steak and as she came to the end a 1/4 part of the steak was fat. When she complained I think it was the duty manager was very rude and quite aggressive. I definitely won't be coming back!! The food was nothing

Visited the Meadery in Redruth for a friend’s birthday as a table of four and had a really lovely night. The food and service were both great, and the restaurant itself is really quirky and whimsical which made it feel a bit different and special. The menu is quite limited, but everything we had was really nice. Overall we really enjoyed it and would definitely go back.

Redruth Meadery was always a favourite family get together venue which we have frequented for many years, but the service and the food has gone down hill dramatically. The chicken was dry and obviously reheated, tasteless and basically disgusting. The service was shockingly bad with rude and belligerent upper management skills being played out. The waitresses were polite and trying their best under what was obviously regimes they were not comfortable with. The atmosphere was good, but this was only due to the members of our group finding humour in what was ultimately a poor experience. We won’

Just left the meadery very disappointed with the steak it was very fatty with a huge empty vessel thru it. Spoke to a lady who was very rude to me and said that’s what I get in rump steak. I was taken back by her aggressive attitude & being spoken to like a child. Will definitely not have the steak again or even go back. It’s a shame as it has been oh great in the pass. Not only that we waited for just over an hour for our food Not happy at all. If anyone wants to phone me about I’ll be happy to speak to the boss
