Worst fish and chips of my life. After waiting 10 minutes with no queue we were expecting a freshly cooked meal. When we arrived home to open our take away we were soon extremely disappointed. The chips had been sat there for days, dry and cold. The portion size for a large chips was substandard. Chip shop chips are generally famous for generous portions not here. The cod bites had more batter than actual fish. We asked the lady that served us for salt and vinegar on our chips, she forget. The two can of drinks we order were barely cold. To start with good friendly service. As for my order, simple fish and chips. Didn’t know what to expect after reading the reviews, but I can tell you this place deserves the full five stars. The chips were fantastic. The fish was excellent and the price was very reasonable. I normally have something to complain about when it comes to food but this place deserves top marks. The box was full when I collected it and when I returned, there wasn’t a scrap left.

The chips were good, the fish was not bad but I've had better ones in other places. The batter could be more crispy and the fish could be more flaky. The mushy peas were very honest. All in all a friendly place with an ok quality. Located in Rochester high street makes it easy if you're visiting the town.
