As a local, I’ll say it straight, The Brunel Pub is one of those pubs you plan to pop into for “one quick drink”… and somehow you’re still there three hours later. Proper friendly bar staff, a great mix of familiar faces and new ones, and always a good vibe. No awkwardness, no nonsense, just a solid local where everyone feels welcome. They’ve got it all going on: football on the TVs (including in the beer garden, which is a game-changer), karaoke nights where a few “future stars” definitely think they’ve made it, DJ nights, pub quizzes, and even the odd drag cabaret thrown in for good measur

Fave pub to go to for any occasion! Fun, friendly staff and great atmosphere. We've been coming here for a few years now for the quiz, football, drag nights, pints & pizza in the beer garden. Brilliant local place where you get a great mix of people. Would recommend to anyone 🍺🌈⚽🍕

Amazing customer service and good vibes. I’ve been to their quiz night and karaoke and they were so much fun even though I was by myself. The manager Peter is lovely and they have a bartender called Neil that is funny.
